Teaching Maharah Kalam on the Basis of Culture Using the Textbook “al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik” at the Middle School/Ta’lim Maharah al-Kalam ‘Ala Asas al-Tsaqafah bi Istikhdam Kitab al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk fi Marhalah al-Mutawassithah

This study encourages the disclosure of cultural values contained in book al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik which is used learning maharah kalam at middle school level. Teaching cultural-based important Arabic. Cultural textbooks must be adapted to way they are taught students. a qualitative approach with case method Dar el-Iman Junior High School, Padang, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out using in-depth observations, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis technique based on Miles Huberman's theory encompassed reduction, display, drawing conclusion. The obtained were validated triangulation techniques sources. showed that adopted from School associated what students have done every day, such as saying greetings when first meet, not shaking hands between men women, getting good pronunciation sentences, etc. It necessary test effectiveness use textbook improving students' kalam, become reference for teachers choosing right textbook.
